For the longest time, scheduling posts has been a nightmare for social media managers including our very own. With 3rd party apps like Hootsuite, Onlyput, Buffergram, ViralTag to name but a few reaping big on this gap and charging a premium.

The introduction of Facebook Creator Studio has proven to be a game changer in social media management. The native Facebook platform allows users to manage their Facebook and Instagram accounts under one roof. Scheduling for Instagram stories is still not yet active.

To start your experience, first and foremost, create a Facebook Creator Studio account, link it to your Facebook account and make sure your instagram account is changed to a business account and link your instagram account to your Facebook account. To do so, open your instagram app on your phone, go to your profile and tap on Edit profile then select your Facebook page.

Once you are done with the account creation process, head to the specific Instagram profile and select ‘Create Post’ at the top left of screen, which will enable you to choose whether you want to post to your ‘Instagram Feed’ or IGTV

In the feed post option, you can upload your image and add in your caption, along with emojis, location tags, etc. You can also edit your image content within the Creator Studio workflow.

The special feature worth noting is that you can add multiple images on the platform, which is an element that many third-party tools are unable to facilitate.

Once you’re ready to schedule your post, you click on the drop-down arrow next to the ‘Publish’ prompt at the bottom right of screen, which will bring up the scheduling tool, select the date and time you want to post and voila. You are all set to go.

If you have not yet given it is worth the time and effort.
